Suboxone Buprenorphine Naloxone

Buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual tablets are used to treat dependence or addiction to opioids (narcotics). Buccal film, buprenorphine naloxone sublingual film or buprenorphine and naloxone sublingual tablet are used for the induction and maintenance treatment of opioid (narcotic) dependence.

It should be used in patients who have previously been treated with buprenorphine/naloxone sublingual tablets.

When a narcotic medication is used for a long time, buprenorphine side effects it can be habit-forming, leading to mental or physical dependence. Physical dependence can cause withdrawal side effects if the narcotic is stopped suddenly.

Serious withdrawal side effects can usually be avoided when a person switches to a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. It works on the central nervous system (CNS) to help prevent withdrawal side effects.
